I find the face slightly too soft for my taste but it may just be due to the conversion. Great light control.

Abi Oshodi: Ok guys it is unfortunate you feel that this images is too soft or over smooth but I can only say that this model has really good skin. when it comes to post production, the kind of retouching I like to do is to the highest level I can achieve, please do not be mistaken I feel that i still have alot to learn but someone mentions smoothing or airbrushing I can only think of bad retouching and this is definately not that. I would love to show you guys the original image or more of my own work so you guys please get in touch if you wanna see.

yeah great light control

i wouldn't say softness as much as oversmoothening (though experience tells me the smoothening was probably just right for the actual size of the pic)

I know the rules and conventions for taken images of women as models mean that the end result has to fullfill many criteria ... but to me the personality of the woman can be/is easily lost and thus so is an essential ingredient of any photograph of a person. This seems to be about technical abilty rather than catching the real woman.
Just my thoughts and not a criticism. cheers richard

I must say I do agree with you. when I was doing this test shoot, my main objective was was to acheive a particular lighting style witch I was a first for me. As you can see there was not much consideration for the styling of the shoot and apart from the make-up.
